CDN’s semester concert is tonight, 7:30 pm in the Student Union Theatre!! Come out and show your support- screaming wildly at the dissidence, harmonies, and blend that make CDN the famed a capella group it is!

What’s more, the UConn All Stars are performing at halftime!! This is going to be a ridiculous show..an absurd display of artistic talent on all counts. A show for the ages.

Anxiously Awaiting

Devoted Fans and Followers,

Are you as anxious for the new CDN release as we are?? PROBABLY NOT. Needless to say we wait with baited breath as the groundbreaking work we put into ‘First Class’, our new CD, is set to be unveiled before the start of 2012.

“But I don’t wanna wait until 2012 to hear CDN…I WANNA HEAR THEM NOW!!” The answer to this common schniblin’s refrain is a simple one… :)

To satisfy the all-too-common CDN craving, simply occupy yourself both easily and mindlessly with CDN’s youtube page, Bandpage, or in person! We are constantly singing live shows and would love to have all our fans in attendance.

In fact, we are performing live VERY soon! Less than five days from now, CDN will be performing in Northampton, MA- at Smith College- with The Vibes. WE couldn’t be more excited for this gig and hope you’ll all show your CDN pride on Friday night! See you there!

Fall 2011 Update...CD news and our 4 new guys!!!

Hey everyone sorry it’s been way too long. Summer was very busy for CDN as we worked to complete our third studio album (due out by winter)!!

We would also like to introduce our newest singers. A HUGE welcome to Jack Barrett, Jeff O’Brien, Mike Steinberg, and Kevin Yuliawan! They are great additions to the group.

We will do our best to keep the site as up to date as possible. In the coming days look for new member bios to the posted along with the most up to date schedule of our events. We’re so excited to be back making great music for yall!! Talk to you soon

Spring Break Plans

The Men of CDN have been working very hard lately and are finally reaching the end of a dark tunnel, spring break. Most plan to simply relax, but others have quite the extravagant plans. Some plan to tour Europe, one plans to go to a basket weaving camp, and two are debating getting haircuts. All in all, it will be a fun spring break for all.

Training Update

The Men of CDN have been very busy lately. They’ve been working very hard, sometimes singing up to 127 hours on end, and drinking lots of milk. They are building up strength and stamina to woo audiences nationwide. Whether it be Connecticut, Connecticut, Connecticut, or Virginia, they are training to have amazing concerts.

Alongside that, every member’s goal by the end of the semester is to bench at least 4x their weight.

Another College Show Added

You heard right! CDN has added another college show to this already busy semester of traveling. We are super excited to head to University of Vermont to join all female group “Cat’s Meow” at their semester concert. Check back frequently for more news and updated events.

After a physically draining 14 week audition process, CDN is happy to welcome 4 new members to the CDN experience. Congrats to Isaiah Farrow, Max Shakun, Jeff Mailhot, and Hayden Carnaghi!

CARA Nomination

Top 10 Nominee for Best All-Male Collegiate Album!

CDN is excited to announce that our newest album Blazin’ is one of the top 10 nominees for a Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award (CARA) for best all-male collegiate album of 2010! Nominators from the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America (CASA) each made a list of albums in the all-female, mixed, and all-male categories that they think should be honored with an award.. and CDN made the cut!

CDN on BOCA 2010

Best of College A Cappella Announced!

CDN is proud to announce that the first track from our new album has been selected for BOCA 2010!!

Take Me As I Am, originally performed by Tonic, will be track #16 on the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America’s annual compliation CD. Hundreds of tracks were submitted, but only 20 were chosen for this year’s album. Get the full story at CASA’s Website.
